Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Excursion to the SA
Museum and St Peter’s Cathedral
As a part of our current Unit of
Inquiry, the Senior Unit classes are going on an excursion to the South Australian
Museum and St Peter’s Cathedral on Tuesday 6th June (Week 6). While
out and about in the city, we will be exploring how symbols and artifacts help
us understand cultural rituals and traditions.
Students will travel by train to the
city from Gawler Central (near Coles) train station and will be leaving school at
8:55am. We ask that all students are here at 8:50am to make this possible. We
will be back at school for normal pick up time.
We will require some parent helpers to
assist on the day. Please let us know if
you can come and join us on this little trip of cultural awareness.
Children will need to bring/wear:
Ø
School
sports uniform
Ø
Small
back pack (or school bag) to carry Lunch and Recess in disposable bags and
Water bottle
Ø
Any
medication that is needed
If you have any further questions,
please contact your class teacher.
Yours sincerely,
The Senior Unit
