Welcome to the 2017 School Year

STUDENTS RETURN:   MONDAY 30th JANUARY 2017 

Students can arrive at school from 8.30am.  

At 8.55am they will go to their classrooms to meet their teacher & begin the morning session. 

   PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO STAY FOR A FRIENDLY CUPPA AND A CHAT

UNDER THE SHELTER FROM 9am   (Coffee& Tea available from the OHSC Room)

 

Parent Information Night:  TUESDAY 31st JANUARY 2017

6.45pm to 7.05pm under the Shelter

Introduction Daryl Trigg Principal 2017, Information about the new school year.

 

This is followed by teacher presentations in their classroom/area at 7.15pm to 7.45pm

and repeated again (for parent convenience) at 7.50pm to 8.20pm

 

Teachers will provide important information about teaching and learning in their year level

and information for 2017.   This will be a great start to our learning partnership with you.

It is important for parents to attend this information night

 

Opening Worship & Praise:  FRIDAY 3rd FEBRUARY 2017 at 9.00am

This service will include the Installation of new staff members.     

Continuing staff will also be affirmed in their roles.

Year 2 students will be presented with their Bibles.

All families and friends are invited to join us.  

Please stay for a cuppa and a chat following the service.

 

SCHOOL CROSSING MONITORS - PARENT HELPERS NEEDED please

We are looking for parents / caregivers to volunteer their time to help as a

 “School Crossing Monitor” on Lyndoch Road during 2017. 

Your help is needed either in the morning between 8.30am to 8.55am or

in the afternoon between 3.25pm to 3.45pm. 

You will be placed on a roster for one morning or one afternoon per week or fortnight.   

 

TRAINING  by the SA Police Traffic Training and Promotions will be held at school on

Monday 30th January 2017 starting at 9.30am (approx 45 mins)

to which you would need to attend.

Please consider helping with this important job role. 

 

Before school care (OHSC)

Camp Australia are able to offer “Before School Care” starting from 7.00am this year.

Before School Care 7.00am to 8.30am /  After School Care 3.30pm to 6.00pm

PARENTS & FRIENDS (p&f) first meeting FOR 2017 & agm

Thursday 9th February 7pm in the staffroom.

Parents and Friends invite all parents / caregivers to join their group and enjoy some social time along with assisting the school by helping with events and fundraising.
