No better way to start the week than with the Stooges!
Welcome to Week 9. Here are the highlights of the week.
UOI
Our Stained Glass Window assignment is due on Thursday. We are looking forward to the designs the children are making and the reasons for their designs. Information about the assignment can be found lower in the blog.
Casual Day
The Public and Community Affairs ministers have organised a casual day for this Friday. Information came home on Monday about what is happening on the day. Remember to wear a splash of red.
The Year 6's are going shopping this week for Maths. While we are not heading down to Coles we will be making our own Senior Unit Shopping Centre on Thursdays. Businesses have been formed and products are being organised and sorted. We are hoping it will be a great opportunity to explore percentage which has been a focus for this term.
Work Experience
This week we have a work experience student in with Mrs Eckermann. We welcome Casey Binns to the Senior Unit and hope she has a great time seeing what teachers do.
GWLS Book Club
Later in the week a new podcast will be released for the book club. The book we will be looking at is The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. Keep a look out for it.
