Family Night

Thanks for joining us last Friday evening and making the Family Night a fun successful evening.

 

Absentees

If your child is absent, please remember to ring the front office or email your teacher prior to 9.30am.  When your child returns to school please write a note to the teacher advising of their reason for absence. 

 

Volunteering at Immanuel

If you come to help during the day at school (other than reading in the morning) please remember to sign in at the front office

 

Winter Uniform - Term 2

Please check your child's winter uniform requirements and place a pre-purchase order through the office.  This will enable us to order in sufficient uniform items from our suppliers. 

 

Worship & Praise Friday 24th February at 9.00am

·         with Mr Semmler's Yr 6/7s

·         All families and friends are invited to join and stay for a cuppa and a chat following the service

 

Subway Lunches

Please note there will be NO Subway lunch next week Friday 3rd March

 

Friday Electives

Students will get to choose a new elective for week 4&5.

 

Some help is needed -

·         Miss Treasure is asking for donations of small glass jars for her elective

·         Mr Davies elective is the "running group".  He is asking for some parent volunteers to come and run / walk too so that his group can leave the school grounds and run to the surrounding park areas. (Mr Davies is eager to enter a group from Immanuel School Gawler into the 2017 City to Bay on the 17/9/17, so is determined to implement a proper training routine.  Alternatively his group will only run circuits of the school and this will compromise the value and potential of the elective.) 

 

Shrove Tuesday 28-2-17

Next Tuesday we will be cooking pancakes on the BBQ in the morning from 8am to share with students and parents acknowledging the meaning of Shrove Tuesday.   A note will be sent home later this week with more details.
