Whole School Updates Week 2

Monday emails:  Please let the teacher or office staff know if you need to another email address added to our distribution list. 

 

Gates:  open / close

• Daly Street car park and entrance gate is open all day.
• Gates at Lyndoch Road, School Lane and Oval are locked at 9.30am and reopened at 3.00pm.    These are relocked at 3.45pm  (please note this if picking up from OHSC in the afternoon).
• Please make sure that you only turn left out of the school lane during peak times.

 

Subway Lunches

• Start this week. Lunch order must be in by Wednesday 3.30pm for lunch on a Friday.   Please order as per the set menu only.   

 

Parents & Friends Group (P&F)

• First meeting and AGM will be this Thursday 9th February at 7pm in the staff room.   All parents& caregivers are welcome to attend. 

 

Worship & Praise Friday 10th February at 9.00am

·         Presented by Pastor Geoff Havelberg

• All families and friends are invited to join and stay for a cuppa and a chat following the service

 

Electives @ Immanuel

·         Starts this Friday for students in Yr 1-7.

·         Parents who are registered Volunteers are welcome to come and support this programme by running a group. Please let Daryl know if you are interested. (Each electives run for two weeks and groups are aimed to be between 5-10 students per group and are multi aged – though you can specify age ranges.)

 

Lunchtime Activities

·         Did you know that students have a range of structured activities to do during lunch. Take a look at the notice board outside of room 5 (music room) for more detail.

 

School Crossing Monitors

·         Students in year 5,6,7 have been placed on a roster.  Please remind your child to check the schedule and arrive promptly for their duty.

More Parent Helpers needed as crossing monitors

• Please consider helping with this important job role.  The next training session with SA Police is on Friday 10th February 9.30am.  
• You can opt for a morning or afternoon / weekly or fortnightly schedule  

 

Secondhand Uniform Stall

Open:   Mondays at 8.30am - 9.15am and Fridays at  3.00pm - 4.00pm

  

Rhythm Kids

• Commences next Monday 13th Feb at 9.30am in Music room (number 5) with Mr Hueppauff

 

Volunteer Training

·         If you wish to be a registered volunteer please attend the Valuing Safe Communities next week Wednesday 15th Feb at 2.30pm and 6.30pm

 

Family Night - Friday 17th February 4.00pm to 6.30pm
