Worship & Praise Friday 17th February at 9.00am

Volunteer Training

·        People who volunteer in our school need to complete:
     1.  ‘Valuing Safe Communities’ training and
     2.  Have a current police check.

Both of these have a life span of three years

Valuing Safe Communities training is being held this Thursday 16th Feb at 2.30pm and again at 6.30pm in the staffroom with Daryl Trigg. 

Duration is approx 45 mins.  No need to book in. 

 

Family Night - Friday 17th February 4.00pm to whenever you leave….

• Fun and games for the kids, a great way to meet other families, enjoy some food and drinks.   

 

Electives @ Immanuel

• All went well last Friday.  Kids had a blast learning or making something different.  Students are in the same groups for this Friday. If you are interested in leading an elective, please speak with Daryl. 

                                                                                                           

Rhythm Kids for preschoolers

• Started today and runs every Monday at 9.30am in Music room (number 5) with Mr Hueppauff.  (parents can have a coffee and chat whilst their preschoolers have fun with music)

 

Assembly - presented by the year 3's

• Next Monday 20th February at 2.45pm under the shelter
• All parents and caregivers welcome to join us

 

See Saw: 

• This year we are introducing a new on-line portfolio for all of our students.  It’s called See Saw and it will replace the old ‘paper folder’ portfolios that used to go home. The work samples will be housed on line and parents/caregivers will be invited to view them there, via an email notification. Information about how you can access these on-line portfolios will be coming home soon, if not already.

There are many benefits to See Saw:

• Students can’t lose the folder! (and if they turn it upside down the stuff doesn’t fall out.)
• Both parents can view it whenever they want – especially good for separated families.
• It can be accessed on any device type or platform.
• See Saw can capture video and voice and so we can share things that we have never been able to before, like students giving a verbal presentation.
• The sharing is continuous – teachers will upload samples during the term and not wait until the end of the term/units etc
