Whole school reminders/updates:
Welcome back to Term 4. We hope you had a restful holiday and are ready for the final term of the year.
School Uniform - Please label
· Summer Uniform is to be worn as from Term 4. This includes hats
· Please ensure your child's name is clearly marked on their hat and jumper
· Please see the office if you need to purchase new summer uniform items or the second hand stall is open on a Monday 8.30-9.15am and on a Friday 3.15 to 4pm
School Day / Punctuality
· The school day begins at 8.55am. Students who arrive after 9am are considered late and need to be signed in at the office by the parent / caregiver. If your child is absent please ensure you advise the school by 9.30am (via phone or email)
· The school day ends at 3.30pm. If you need to pick up early a note to your teacher in the morning is really helpful. Please report to the school office and sign your child out whilst your child is called to the office
School Lane Car Park:
· You will notice that we have done quite a bit of redevelopment of the school lane car park during the holidays. More is planned for the Christmas break – landscaping/surfacing and setting out car spacing etc
· During this week we will continue with the normal direction of travel for the Kiss and Drop area near the tennis courts as we evaluate the most efficient and safe use of this and consider alternatives that might be better. Stay tuned!

· The Year 7 Celebration / Social Night will be held on Thursday 14th December starting at 6.30pm. This will involve only Year 7's, their families and staff and there will be a dinner provided

Help Steve Ride for Sick Kids SA
· Steve Cleland is one of our school dads. And he’s going to ride a push bike for 1000km over seven days (9-25 Nov) to raise money for sick kids. That’s a pretty big effort and a really great cause.
· At Immanuel we want to support and encourage Steve and the other riders so on Friday the 27th October (week 2) Steve will be in Taikondi (shelter area) all day riding his bike (on blocks) and he’ll have lots of information about the ride and the cause. You can support byplacing a gold coin (or any coin) in the wheel that will be on the ground near him.
